Welcome to Our Blog

Thank you for celebrating this happy time in our lives with us. We've posted this blog so that our friends and family can get to know who it is exactly that we've fallen so crazy in love for; and so that we could easily provide you with information on our gift registry and directions to our UT reception as well as our WA open house. Thank you for your love and support. Information will be added as we find the time between work, wedding planning, and life in general, to sit at the computer and finally get it done, so keep checking back for more tid bits from us.

ATTENTION FAMILY AND GUESTS

For the courtesy, wellbeing, and health of some of our guests we ask you to please REFRAIN from wearing any perfumes, strong smelling lotions, hair spray, etc. to the reception/open house, or other functions. Thank you.

About Sam

I, Samuel Alan Workman, was born in Provo, Utah to Alice Workman and Scott Workman. I am the oldest of their children. Shortly thereafter, my father's work took us to Boise Idaho. Within a couple of years he got laid off and we moved to Vancouver Washington when I was about 2 1/2 years old. There my oldest brother and oldest sister were born. I went to Orchards Elementary School for the first few years of my schooling. I was homeschooled from the 5th to the 8th grade. Shortly after I turned 11 my family moved to Sequim, Washington. My youngest sister was born in the nearby city of Port Angeles and my youngest brother was born at home in Sequim. While there I attended Sequim Middle School, and then Sequim High School. In 2006 I was awarded the Eagle Scout Award.
In 2007 I left for the New Jersey Cherry Hill Mission, where I served an honorable 2 year full-time mission. I came back home in 2009.
In March of 2009 I moved to Salt Lake City, UT where I currently reside. I work for one of the biggest companies in the world, Walmart.
I enjoy spending time with my wonderful fiancee, Vannesa. I also enjoy building things, though I don't do so very often. Work keeps me busy. I enjoy solving Sudoku puzzles. I also enjoy just being with friends and family.
